Clear aligners are an effective alternative to traditional braces. Using a series of clear, comfortable and removable plastic aligners that are custom designed for each patient, clear aligners gradually move your teeth into their desired position while nobody but you knows you are undergoing orthodontic treatment.
Some simple problems do not require braces and can be treated with clear aligner type appliances like Invisalign, Invisalign Teen or SureAligners.
How does it work?
Clear aligners are used as an alternative to braces, and are designed to gradually move teeth in their proper position. A 3D scan of your teeth is taken which allows us to create a series of aligners that match your teeth perfectly. The aligners are made with a strong plastic material that are specifically fabricated to fit your teeth. You wear these aligners at all times except when you eat, brush and floss. Then every two weeks you change your aligners for a new set. Little by little, your teeth are moved closer to their final position – your perfect smile.
